USUALLY that’s a serious issue, but on Pike’s we passed a half a dozen rangers who told us to drive slower and turn on our lights.

I was going to go a month or so ago but ended up going to Garden of the Gods/Air Force Academy and saving it for a trip when we had more time in Colorado Springs.

be sure to hit up the penny arcade in manitou springs at the bottom of pike’s. it’s full of classic arcade games, many old enough that they are mechanical.

no we did, we were also going VERY slow, they just spat the same info at us in a disinterested manner each time we passed one. “drive slow, there’s cliffs, turn on your lights, look out for animals”
